It was the birth of my second son and encouragement from my doula Jane, that I entered the world of birth as a doula.

That is precisely how my birth photo journey began 13 years ago.

While doing doula tasks, I would occasionally be asked to capture photos with the family camera. It only took one birth photo assignment for me to realize how life changing birth photography is.

If there is one subject that I will document until I die, it's birth.
